I know it's not ideal, but it doesn't seem like face masks are going away anytime soon. We are all going through this pandemic together and we are all wearing masks in order to interact with the public. In my opinion, it's a small gesture of courtesy and kindness and the least we can do to keep the people around us safe. And if you're anything like me, you've already embraced the opportunity to add to your personal style, and have accumulated a collection of small batch, handmade masks from your favorite independent designers. Regardless of what the future holds, I don't think we should put our jewelry wearing days off until our mask wearing days are over. But there's nothing worse than wrestling to detangle your earrings from your mask on top of all the other struggles in life. And now, with the cold weather settling in, you're likely wearing jackets, scarves, a hat, and a face mask! That's a lot of opportunity for your jewelry to get tangled up in. So if you are looking for earrings to be able to wear while you are out doing errands or at work, I've put together a group of my most recommended and best earrings to wear with a face mask struggle free.
In general, studs are the way to go because they will sit closer to your ear and since they are small, there isn't much material to them to get tangled up in stuff. But I know it's hard to give up all dangle earrings so here's a few tips to keep in mind. When wearing dangle earrings with your mask it is better to choose a pair that has a post and backing like the Sun Ray Dangle Studs (pictured below) so that they don't fall off when taking your mask on and off. Just remember to pull them through your mask loops.
